Site Superintendent (Mechanical / Piping)

  • Min 10 to 15 year experience required in the oil & gas industry with comprehensive experience in piping work installation (U/G & A/G), inspection and testing
  • B.E. in mech engineering or equivalent degree required
  • Desired skills for piping including PMDS, 3D model & autocad
  • Responsible for small and large bore pipe installation, insulation activities along with flushing and pressure testing
  • Familiar with piping materials, pipe support design, red markup dwgs, as-built dwgs
  • Ensure all quality control checks and tests are instigated, with records maintained and available as required for underground metallic and non-metallic checks, pre and post test checks, hydrotesting, flushing and drying, safety relief valve installation, all in accordance with contractors agreed ITP, method statement and project specifications
  • Supervise and direct subordinate personnel and craft in construction activities within the piping discipline to ensure smooth workflow and schedule adherence
  • Awareness of PTW system, capability to prepare work procedures / method statements with excellent communication skills
  • Provides guidance for environmental, safety, health, injury / accident and fire prevention on the project
