⛴🛳## The Corniche – in the evenings is beautiful with colourful lights. Close by is the Sultan’s palace and the old Fort. 

## Across from Riham Park is a beautiful look out point, (small hill) great to take pictures from, especially of the icon that’s featured in most adverts of Muscat/ Oman. 

🏰 🕌## The Grand Mosque is absolutely free, and a must see. Remember to carry a scarf and wear long sleeves. 

🕊🦅🦆🕷🦗🦂Al Ansab Wetlands is a lovely little green part of the city in Muscat where flamingos and other birds pitstop during their migration. 

🏖🏝. ##Beaches, especially in Shatti Qurum are beautiful. There are numerous coffee shops and sheesha places there with spectacular views of the ocean.

## It’s a beautiful drive‬ to Sifah! I highly recommend having lunch at the Sifaway hotel. Scenic marina.  Variety buffet menu. You could also go by boat (OMR 20).

🌞🌟💫### Desert Experience a night in the desert at Wahiba Sands is amazing. Drive your 4X4 over the dunes- it’s fun! ‪🦂🕸🕷

###Nizwa City: Nizwa (Fort), Bahla, Misfit al Arbreen, Al Hamra Misfat al Abryeen. Stay overnight if you can at Misfah old house. This can be done as a day trip if you have a car. ‪

## The dhow factory in Sur‬ is also interesting. 

🌤See the turtles nesting at Sur. (Late Sept- Mid Nov. ) 

🏝🏝### Diminyat islands - a beautiful place to snorkel above the “aquarium spot” of coral in the ocean. The coral and reefs close to the islands are also lovely. Boats go out every morning @ 8 and 10am from the Marina. 4hr round trip. 

****🚘🚖🚍✈️Transport: Car Rentals in Oman OMR 155 per month and as little as OMR15 per day. Taxi from the airport OMR 7 Bus 400 baisas per trip Mini bus taxi's 500 baisas runs only along the Highway. Big double decker tourist bus runs the tourist route.  Mawasalat Is cheaper- like the Uber service. 

Coming by bus from Dubai? 🚌🚎

The three daily buses will start at 7.30am, 3.30pm and 11pm. It takes 7-8 hrs. 

In Oman the buses will have eleven stops on the way to Muscat including Shinas, Sohar, Barka, Muscat Airport and Athiba Bus Stations in Muscat. The buses stop at these places on the way back as well.
